With only two races left for the season Jason and Jake were excited to have some fun in the classics. A lot of work was done to Jakes classic to try and help him and we were excited to see how he ran.He was fast in practice but unfortunately just after a few laps the engine let go leaving Jake without a ride for the evening.David Saul stepped up and was gracious enough to let Jake race his car for the night. Jake did not know what to expect going out in a car he had never driven. Jake started 2nd and Jason last. The green flag flew and Jake jumped to the outside line for the lead and ran there. Jason charged through the field for a few laps until he came onto Jake and the leader. He waited patiently behind them for a few laps until they slipped and then he made his move into the lead and would never look back. Jake on the other ran 3rd and then 2nd for many laps. Unfortunately he got a little loose out of turn 2 and was unable to save the car before it hit the guardrail taking him out of the race.
