Late Model racing was back for the first time in a while and the classics were off this weekend so the Late Models could run. Jake Was happy to be back in the Late Model but much chassic work to be done if he was going to run up front. From the moment he unloaded the car was horrible setup wise and Jake could tell something was wrong in the steering. The team examined the steering and found that the servo was going bad. Jake had said it was hard to just hold the car straight going down the straightaways. Nothing could be done to repair the problem at the track so Jakes only choice was to go out and start the race for points. Only one more Late model race left for the season as they return September 3rd for the last race of the season. Jake and Jason will be back next week as the classics return to Ona.
