Late Models were back this weekend and Jake was excited about getting back down into it after almost a month break. He still though would be racing the classic after his excellent run the previous week. He would have to start on the tail though and try to work his way up through the pack. Most of the focus was on Jakes late model though as a lot of work went into over thee past few weeks. Jake started on the pole and ran well enough to stay out front but was not as happy with the car as he could have been. He went on to win the race but felt he still had a lot of work left to do to get up to its full potential. Directly after the Late model race Jake hopped right down into the classic to start on the tail since he won last week.
The green flag flew with Jason on the pole and jumping out to an early lead. Jake jumped to the outside to make some moves up through the field. A spin emerged and covered the track with smoke as Jake was on the outside of another car. Jake slammed on the brakes but t-boned Marty Powers hard enough to ruin the bumper and bust the radiator. Jakes night was over but Jason kept on in the lead and held off a late charge by Cody Frye to pick up his 3rd win of the year.
