Jason ran the classic this weekend as Jakes engine for Mansfield was being worked on. Jake came and helped out in the pits and got in the spotters stand once again. Jason felt that the car was terrific in practice and had nothing changed for the feature race. Jason was set to start on the tail but 3 of the 6 cars wanted to start on the tail because they were new or were having problems. This placed Jason in 3rd place for the start. He followed the 55 of Bailey around for a few laps until he could squeeze into 2nd. He quickly found that when the sun started to go down the car was looser and looser. He would fight the car off the turns every lap sometimes able to maintain grip other times not. He never left the tail of the leader though thruought the 20 lap race. Jason wound up finishing yet another 2nd place with two wins and two 2nd's for the year. He is now tied for the points lead with Chad Bailey. Next weeks race looks to be a good one as Jason tries to make it back to victory lane.
