Jake was the only one running this weekends as the classics took a break. Jake was testing out a new setup early in practice and was slowly making progress to finding the right setup for the track. After a fair practice session we all thought about what we could do to help Jake turn a little bick quicker time and get off the corners better. We made an adjustment shortly before the feature.
The feature was really short tonight with only 4 cars running. Jake had to start on the tail where he won the previous week. He quickly moved up to 2nd and stayed there the majority of the race putting on a great show trying to take the lead. The adjustment we had made though was terribly off and it took all that Jake had just to not wreck the car. He fell to third when he tried for the lead on the outside once and dodged a wreck crossing the start finish line when 2nd place spun on the last lap. Unfortunately due to the low car counts there will not be any more Late Model races until June 25th.
